Intimate embraces, laughter, beautiful light, and the merriment that go along with a wedding day inspire me. I am a photographer who focuses on natural connection, magical in-between moments and putting you right at ease so you can be your truest self.
Hi, I’m Peyton —
A wedding, editorial + portrait photographer passionate about capturing honest photographs. After graduating from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas I decided to establish my own business and Voilà! 1778photographie was created. I have a profound love for history, loud laughter, pine trees, mountain air, starry skies, desert landscapes, love notes, romance novels, cats, wind-swept hair, 35mm film, polaroids and french décor. Oh and strawberry cake — how could I almost forget that!
I adore capturing lovely moments and delight in creating emotive photographs. I take a documentary approach — along with an editorial vibe — when photographing a wedding celebration, along with emphasizing candid, organic moments that celebrate the connections you share with family and friends.
1778photographie is composed out of love for creating photographs that capture your natural beauty and illustrate your unique spirit. One of my favorite things is creating art that emanates joie de vivre. I endeavor to capture photographs that you will cherish and swoon over. The name 1778photographie is inspired by my love of French history — the 18th century being my particular favorite to read about.
I am incredibly grateful to do this for a living and cherish each couple + individual I have the privilege to work with. 1778photographie donates a percentage of profits to animal charities each year + you can find me volunteering at the local humane society in my free time.
It has been an honor to see my work featured on Rocky Mountain Bride, Rock N Roll Bride Magazine, Magnolia Rouge, Brides of Austin, Wed Society, The Knot and more.
